Knox Boxes
Montpelier, the General Henry Knox Museum is pleased to provide two different Knox Boxes to local classrooms, containing material to introduce General Henry Knox, his life and times to students. Our goal is to enrich the classroom experience and enliven the students' interest in our rich heritage. The material in the Knox Boxes is provided, free of charge, to educators teaching within the Waldo Patent, to incorporate in their lesson planning related to life in 18th century America. We suggest a class tour of Montpelier, also free of charge, as a culminating activity.

Knox Boxes are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may be signed out for a period of two months. If you have any questions, contact the Director of Education at (207) 354-0180 or via email at archivist@knoxmuseum.org. We look forward to hosting you and your students at Montpelier.
